Upon check-in, I was informed that the restaurant and bar were closed for the summer, which really took away from the overall experience. My room was very basic, with several issues — the nightstand lights flickered, and the bathroom vanity light didn’t work at all. To make matters worse, housekeeping knocked on my door at 10 a.m., pressuring me to leave even though checkout wasn’t until 11 a.m.

Staff was lovely. The area was a bit sketchy. The room was clean but had issue like lights not working and no blackout curtains so streetlights and other lights lit the room timely all night. There was clearly an attempt to modernize the room but fell a little short. For a simple place to sleep, it fit the bill.

Fantastic retro feel, Steph was wonderful. The only issue is there were no food services - restaurant and rooftop bar were closed for the summer. It would have been good to know that prior to booking - pook space at night was especially enjoyable

My stay was great but its not the same vibe as before. I used to stay here and enjoy the rooftop entertainment, the restauran and also the pool was a great vibe. Sometimes they would hv fun pool parties and it was great for staycation. This time everything was close, it was just like any ordinary hotel. I guess I was expecting to hv the same experience, but was informed that now its under new owner, new management.

Catfish hotel !

This hotel is nothing like it is presented in the pictures. Everything is dated and old looks like it has not been renovated in a very long time. I specifically booked here because it said they had a continental breakfast, which was also a lie. Their restaurant and bar are also closed in the summertime but rather than tell you that on the website, they wait till you check in to drop the bad news The beds are extremely low and the room is archaic. I never typically complain, but I hate being lied to. I would’ve never booked here had I known the reality of the property. Beware ! you will get catfished like a bad tender date..

Strong smell of cleaning agent, when lights are off and AC switches on, the lights flash on even in off position all night long. Seems like someone is coming in your room and turning on the lights. There was hair all over in the bathroom and bed. Office chair has broken spring inside that sticks you in the leg when you sit in it. Had two more nights to stay, went to cancel at 9am but was only able to get one night refunded cause it was too late in the day to cancel for that night. Picture on line must be from 10 yrs ago looks nothing like that now. They said there was a continental breakfast, 2x4 table with 5 mini muffins in a plastic tray and a single cup mini coffee machine is what you get. The restaurant and bar they say is there, it’s closed and empty. Looking at the reviews it looks to have been closed around a year ago but it’s still in the web page as open. Unless you like paying for disappointment I wouldn’t stay here
