The Grand Mercure exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful and we were very fortunate to have booked one of the 14 available 2 bedroom villas with our own private soaking pool. The villa was a bit pricey in comparison to a regular room but well worth the extra cost. The villas are great for families with older children. Staying in the villas allows you access complimentary tea and snack bar between 11am and 5pm which was fantastic. We ate dinner poolside one night and in the Bubbles restaurant another. Food was good and reasonably priced. Location was also great. Steps away to tons of bars, restaurants and shopping. Located 3 blocks from the beach. I highly recommend this resort if you plan on visiting Patong in Phuket.

Family with two teenage boys, we stayed in two bedrooms villa with private pool. The villa was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good variety and fresh, good coffee. We got access to the club lounge, which it was cosy and relaxing and good finger foods.
