The bed was very comfortable! The air conditioner was right on. The room was updated...just needed minor fixes like electrical outlet by sink needs to be replaced. And would be nice to have a end table with lamp by the chairs.
I don’t even know where to start. This hotel is so outdated and dirty, they first had to change our room because the first one had broken furniture and blood on the wall. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and they didn’t even have a place to hang our clothes. The parking so terrible we had to park in the bank next door and we had to make sure we were gone before the bank opened. There was a ton of cobwebs on the ceiling. I hate that this hotel is in such bad shape? It is in a great location and the staff are very nice and helped us all they could.
I booked thru expedia a double room with 2 queen beds..they moved us to a single room with 2 double beds..staff rude..indoor pool water was green. Room had alot of patched areas an not painted.
No hair dryers or breakfasts as advertised. Very street noisy. The price you pay you expect better.
Never going back
This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. Dirty bathroom with rust and holes in ceiling. Heard a mouse or rat running around at night. We had a 3 bedroom unit with 6 adults and they wanted to charge extra for more than 2 room keys. They also only provided 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 adults (4 women) for a 3 day stay and got mad at us when we asked for more because we were out of toilet paper. They tried to just give us 1 roll and I insisted on at least 2 rolls and then they got really mad and one of them followed me upstairs on the elevator.
I wish I could upload the pictures of this rat trap so you can see how turkey awful it was.

We stayed here a year and a half prior to this visit. This time, the rooms were not as clean.
The hotel Mountain vista inn was the worse hotel I've ever been in. The rooms are filthy, the beds had hair and dirt o. The sheets and mattresses, the pool water was brown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The beds are also the most uncomfortable bed ever.
Extremely disappointed to the point my family had to consider finding another hotel. The room was filthy—stained sheets and a terrible smell. It was clear that housekeeping had not done a thorough job. I expected better cleanliness for the price. I do not recommend this place unless they seriously improve their standards.
Ok place to stay. But they charge u a deposit then make up a reason to keep it. You will not get your deposit back. Do not have the breakfast anymore. Didn’t really see staff except for checking in and checking out. Bathroom is tiny and no door or curtain on the shower so u have to put a towel on the floor.
This hotel was okay; the kids enjoyed the heated indoor pool since it was winter when we visited. It is all outside so you will need to walk back to your room through the weather. There were some obvious signs of wear and tear throughout the place; a dented piece of metal along the elevator door frame, a piece of the wall liner inside of the elevator had came off showing just the metal casing of the elevator, lots of scratched in names and initial anwhere you look. On our first day there, the worker entered the room, I think they mistakenly thought we had checked out. It took us by surprise as our group was all female and a strange man had barged into the room. Maybe they be more careful when reviewing checkout times and even knock before entering any rooms. There was also a few bugs here and there.
The biggest plus for this hotel is affordability and location. It is in the perfect spot to get to the Island and out to the parkway with ease. There is a grocery store and gas station across the street and a couple of souviner shops next door. All in all I would probably stay here again.
