Beautiful hotel. Room with winery view was awesome. Hotel breakfast is good. Bar is also good. Spa is good too. My family enjoyed there.

Located on a slightly remote part of town, and offers a nice pool and facilities. There was a wedding taking place while we were staying there, which made it very noisy and unpleasant. Another guest also put bar charges on our room, apparently without the staff validating the name of the guest.

What an amazing relaxing stay!, we've had such a great time, mostly due to the super friendly ans professional stuff, apart from the actual hotel and amenities. Food at the hotel and bar is delicipus and the seelction of drinks and wine outstanding. Perfect hotel for a relaxing break in Portugal but also close to different attractions and activities in the Douro valley.

Perfect place to unplug

After a week of work in Lisbon and Porto, Lamego Hotel & Life was a peaceful, welcome retreat. The hospitality was exceptional, as was the spa and accommodations and amenities. We will definitely return!

A must stay!

The hotel was spotless, beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner there one night, which was also very reasonable and delicious. I loved that they included a bottle of wine with the room. They had a wonderful bar and hang out area so we could go drink wine and play cards.

We loved our stay at the Lamego Hotel & Life Hotel. The property was great with a lovely Spa where we had an amazing 90 minute massage, great bar and restaurant. We found all the staff to be so friendly, polite and helpful always going over and above. The reception staff were particularly exceptional as they helped me with winery reservations and transport to wineries and restaurants. They were also very helpful to my husband in storing his bike and helping him to plan safe cycle routes Thank you so much for our wonderful stay.

Lamego Life was energizing.

Overall great hotel, staff were amazing. Beds a little too hard and pillows too mushy. Fantastic area, Douro (Lamego) mind blowing beautiful. Food at the hotel was great.

Fabulous and great value

Feels brand new, with fantastic Spa, two beautiful pools and very comfortable room. Just amazing value in a lovely town ideally situated to visit the Douro area.

Nice modern hotel with indoor and outdoor pool

Modern hotel with a large pool near the old town of Lamego. We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was spacious and breakfast was generous. The hotel’s design is nice too and the pool is lovely. We didn’t use the indoor pool as it was sunny when we were there but it looked great too

Wonderful experience!

Beautiful hotel, perfect for a relaxing couple of days during our trip all over Portugal. Best hotel staff we came across throughout our entire trip - super attentive, professional and kind. Great spa facilities, indoor and outdoor pool, incredible attention to design detail - all making this stay a wonderful one.
