my non-smoking room reeked of smoke.

Well, I understood this was an older property and hasn’t been updated in sometime. I had read some of the reviews and had slightly better expectations. However, my non-smoking room reek of smoke had me coughing half the night was very unpleasant. Staff was incredibly friendly. The lobby smelled clean. I had hoped the same for my room. I could’ve overlooked almost everything had the room not smelled so much like smoke. It was really bad definitely needs upgraded. The cleanliness of the room was lacking. The floor was cracked and broken ceiling in the bathroom had brown spots all over it. The breakfast mediocre coffee based on the refuse, I read I definitely did not get what I had expected based on some of the reviews which I believe were fraudulent. Find another place to stay. They were very friendly, but the place just smelled of smoke.

This was such a cute little place. It was a perfect getaway for the weekend. The backyard was nice, kitchen was stocked, the tv choices were good. We were clise to the fairgrounds for the event we wanted to go to. Would definitely stay here again

Great rate and friendly staff. The property is clearly outdated, but that can be expected for the price. As soon as I opened the door it just smelled so clean and I was appreciative of that. I'd stay here again. :)

Dirty… dirty… dirty. I wish there were zero-star options. The place smelled so horrible and the owners didn’t upkeep the rooms. Linens are nasty and feel rough. Also if you check in after midnight, you have to do so outside in the cold using via a little window. Don’t go there, also the overnight guy/ front desk worker was very unprofessional. He was on his phone during the entire check-in process.

Poor Accessibility

The "accessible" room was only marginally accessible. while the doors were wide enough for a wheelchair, the rest of the features were lacking. Shower was neither walk in or roll in. A foot of elevation to step up and in. The commode had no handrails. the sink had a shelf beneath blocking access. Most importantly the bed was 30 inches tall making getting from wheelchair to mattress hazardous and nearly impossible.

Place was dirty, Phone did not work-Went to service desk immediately to report, Was told it would be replaced. I left for the day, Upon returning that night phone was never fixed or replaced. Phone not working was a big inconvenience for me. We all know- You get what you pay for so don't be surprised I was only in town for 2 days by myself so just needed a place to sleep.

I met a bad staff who wouldn’t let me into the lobby because his says his manager says so. I stood in the cold till he checked me in for 9 minutes. My nose was bleeding and he didn’t care. Very terrible staff with no empathy.
