Eden Vale is a hidden gem! We accidentally stumbled across the Inn while looking for accommodations close to Roseville. The location is closer to Placerville, but not far from Roseville. Small and quaint, the staff was courteous and attentive. The room was beautiful and we even had an outdoor tub (private). We will definitely be back when we visit the area!

Happy with property not so happy with hotel.com not letting me use my gift card or being reachable by phone- finally get a human and still can’t use the gift card The property was was very nice just be aware of the elevator, it’s old and they tell you to watch your step and I forgot and tripped but there’s a VibesUp store nearby and they fixed my sore knee quickly!

Property is well managed with great customer service by all the staff and especially Mary. The cute pool and on-site laundry are so convenient. We will be back.

We have just returned home from spending four choice days at the HideAway for our three-generation (17-member) Family Reunion. It felt to us that our hosts had bent every effort to make us comfortable and welcome. The ample size and numerous rooms and nooks, inside and out provided both individual privacy and comfortable space for whole group gatherings. We had hired a professional photographer to document our Reunion, and she had no trouble finding beautiful settings and backdrops.Others have mentioned the well-supplied kitchen, and we agree that the kitchen is so completely and thoughtfully appointed that one could want for absolutely nothing. The beautiful pool and slide was a major source of entertainment and the elevated, several-level pool decks with various tables and chairs and lounges and fire pit provided a delightful venue for the whole group--both day and night. Finally, the owner/host and the wonderful property manager were delightful to work with. For all of these reasons and more, we are happy to give our enthusiastic recommendation for The Hideaway in Somerset without reservation.
