The room was large and pool off the patio was not so good (cold water not heated and they drained it every day when we were there before we woke up and it took them half the day to refill it, so ideal) cool to look at best! Spa was amazing! Staff were fantastic! Do not take the shuttle from airport to the hotel upon arrival between getting your luggage and getting to the hotel it took several hours, I suggest getting the hotel to book you a private cab which is what we did to back to the airport! The food at hotel was grea although make sure you book dinner reservations for the entire stay in advance because you can not simply walk and get a table they make wait for hours if you do that! We found the best kept secret was the rooftop pool great service good views lots drinks and fast service plus it’s the only place at the resort where you can order food poolside. Avoid the shuttles to and from all parks if possible long waits and frankly the cabs from the hotel are inexpensive, clean, friendly, and fast! Make sure that you bring a good pair of sneakers because you be doing a ton of walking while at the resort! The beach area was a big disappointment because there wasn’t one! All the pools were cool so if you are looking for warm water and beach not the place to go. The adventure park Zipline was incredible but tons overheated walking and climbing up lots of stairs, ladders, and steep inclines so avoid that place on a hot day! The animal park not worth it! 6 out of 10 overall!

The resort and staff were great. The hotel has more of a spa vibe vs the party vibe we were used to. Not too many activities on site during the day, but the parks that were included were alot of fun.

We had a swim up room and our pool was super dirty we reported it but it clean the last day we were there so we could not enjoy it :(. Then the “90min” presentation omg it becomes more than 3hrs nightmare and passive aggressive comments. If you don’t buy it make sure you remember how to get back to the property you are staying in because they just leave you there.

This is our second time visiting this property. The first time was 3 years ago. Much has changed, especially the dining/food and price! The resort is still fantastic; however, I don't know if we'd visit again. Most of the food options are now served buffet-style, whereas three years ago, restaurant and menu items were available. You can still make dinner reservations; however, all breakfast and lunch options are buffet style. There are no longer "street vendors" such as bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and the taco cart outside of the Speakeasy is completely different. The Sunday Brunch, served in the caves, has quadrupled in price! However, the Sunday Brunch at Mercado is excellent. As for the adventure parks, they remain fun, but the food at these parks is marginal at best. Will we go back, maybe, our stay at Arte is a good option; however, if we do go back, it will probably be for a few days at La Casa de la Playa for the experience.

Hotel is amazing, however I was disappointed with a few things with the room, the main door didn't close on its own so had to make sure to pull it closed every time. The toilet had a leak and would not flush properly, there was a ceiling light that was flickering in the room, and the TV stopped working multiple times. Didn't like that they advertise it as access to everything and all the restaurants, it's just if you stay in a certain "casa" and wish photos were included with the high price of the stay.
