Your spacious suite at the Vidanta Riviera Maya resort comes with 2 large bedrooms and baths, living room, a dining table, and well-equipped kitchen, allowing you to cook, if you want. The resort sits on a 1000 acres of garden paradise, with inviting pathways wandering throughout, and beautiful birds and other native wildlife hiding nearby. It has 17 wonderful bars and delicious fine and casual dining restaurants; nightly shows and musical entertainment; shops ad market; 15 pristine connected pools, some with bars; and 3 animal sanctuaries right on-site for flamingos, crocodiles and sea turtles.
Other amenities include access to private beaches, Kids Club, spa and fitness center, Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course, and tennis. Also, now on site at the resort is a theater complex that houses Joya, a permanent Cirque du Soleil production that features a unique dining experience and show unlike any other in the world.
There is a $75.00 resort fee, per unit per week (well worth it). This fee covers: Airport transportation to resort (shuttle service is one way only (Airport-Resort) and for foreign guests only), wireless internet, fitness center access, daily maid service, turn down service, local phone calls, internal resort transportation, welcome cocktail, daily newspaper (upon request), incoming faxes and safety deposit box.
Local attractions include: Mayan Ruins at Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum; Playa del Carmen - a lively Mexican resort town; Cancun, an international resort town; Xel-Ha ecological theme park; beaches all along the way from Cancun to Tulum; cave and snorkeling trips from the resort.
