Ocean riviera paradise was an amazing resort, the food was great and had lots of dining options from the buffets to the other 7 elegant/ fancy restaurants. The room was very spacious and remodeled which I really liked. All the staff were very kind and helpful. They also had lots of activities to do during the day you will always be entertained. I would highly recommend this resort it’s definitely one of my favorites.

Majority of ths staff was not friendly. Sometimes they were rude in responsding to the requests or by not acting on it for a long time or completely ignoring it and continuing their buisness. We almost felt like they were not happy at their jobs, may be they are not being paid well enough. The food was okay but not to the level it should be including their speciality reservation restaurants. Otherwise the property was good, location was good and we had good time overall because our family was togetger.

I will start by saying this resort is STUNNING! The landscaping and everything is beautiful and so well kept. The resort is big but not too big to the point where you have to take a shuttle to get from one place to the other. Everything is still walkable which is great. It was a great family resort with lots of things to do for kids. The waterpark was fun and I loved that the kids Daisy pool had a swim up for the adults. What I did not like was the people working there. Out of all the resorts I've been to, and I've been to a lot in Mexico, the people working there were not very friendly. They just did their jobs and that was it. No personality to them and no warm and welcome feeling from them. Most of the bartenders at the swim up bars were not friendly and catered more to the drunk people than the sober ones waiting for a drink. The bartenders at the Eden pool were the absolute worst. Only stayed on one side of the bar giving shot after shot to the drunk people that clearly should have been cut off a long time ago. I've never experienced such poor service from bartenders at a resort before. It was very disappointing. The food at the buffet was good, not amazing. The Italian restaurant had some decent dishes like the lasagna and the penne but the fettuccine was not good at all. The tiramisu was fantastic! I was not able to even get a reservation for the Tepanyaki or the steakhouse. The reservation system is not very good. I was okay with eating at the buffet most night.

Stunning family-friendly resort with EXCEPTIONAL activities for kids! Every day there were many activities to choose from at the pools and at the mini club. Every night there was something for the kids with lots of variety and creativity. The staff working with the kids were wonderful but Mirelle was a stand out for our family! She is so kind and patient with the kids while showing so much spirit and enthusiasm in everything she does! She led an amazing pirate treasure hunt and made my kids believers in the true pirate story at ocean riviera paradise! She is a leader and patient and kind with children and we were so sad to leave her! Thank you Mirelle and all the staff at the kids club especially! This resort is also incredible for people with allergies and they go above and beyond (preparing specialty meals in their own frying pans) for all guests with serious food allergies. We loved this resort so much!!!

The staff was amazing, and the food was great except, the steak and other meats served at the restaurants needed to be seared or grilled. This attention to detail would increase the dining experience a full star in my rating. Steak should come right off the grill not from a warming tray. Other than that, my family absolutely loved the number of bars, the drink quality was great, and the variety of restaurants was amazing. We were fortunate enough to have someone help us make dinner reservations for all of our nights at one time including a wonderful chefs table meal on our last night that included wine and bevage pairing with every course. Thank you Ocean Riviera Paradise, we loved our stay!!

Really did not like not being able to get seat cushions for the outside chairs. Was there for 9 nights and asked for them 3 times and never received them. Rather disappointing. Especially the lack of any follow through from the staff or apology for not getting them...nothing. Very quick to take you money but not in providing good service.

We are returning from a full week at ORP, overall we had a great stay. It can be difficult to make reservations at the restaurants unless you get on the app right at 830am the morning of, and you can expect to wait at the ones that you don’t have to make reservations for. Sakura (hibachi) you have to physically go to the desk outside of the buffet and make reservations at 830am. The buffet is decent, and had different items daily. The beach was beautiful, a few rocks in the water to watch out for but we enjoyed it. Pools were fun, my family loves all of the activities. Be sure to bring sunscreen and after sun products with you, as they are around 30$ a bottle at the resort. Be sure to get a massage from Sandra while you’re there, my husband and I went back a second time we enjoyed it so much!
