The whole entire resort needs serious updating. Staff was friendly, food was good. Entertainment was boring. Beach area was rocky, and not enough lounge chairs. We asked the DJ to play some Mexican music, and was told NO! Are we not in Mexico?! I will not be going back.

Everything was great. The bellboy greeted us by name every time we passed, the rooms were cleaned and restocked, the food was plentiful, various, and hot. Many cook to order stations and breakfast lunch and dinner buffets. Beautiful grounds and well maintained. Access to sister resorts. Good entertainment nightly. Magnificent sunrises. Okay beach. Pool side room was an added bonus with bar service.

Room was clean and the staff was very attentive. The resort is HUGE im sure theres things i didn't see however the grounds are well kept the food is great and the drinks are good as well. This resort was relaxing so if your looking for a party place you may want to go on a Thursday (into the weekend)

We've been back to PYP three times and love the place. The food is fabulous. There are 5 sit down restaurants in addition to the buffet, a grill and bar in the beach, and a taco stand by the main pool. The drinks and waiter service throughout the resort are excellent. The junior deluxe swim out rooms are the best. The beach is lovely with lots of shade. The entertainment is top notch too. The highlight, however, is the staff. They are so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. wait to go back again.

I liked my room. It was nice and clean. The property is nice overall. Food was just okay for me though they do have 6 restaurants, I didn’t get to try them all. I loved the beach. Staff did a great job keeping it clean and free of seaweed. The downsides for me were: I couldn’t relax on the beach without getting hounded every 2-5 minutes by someone (not hotel staff) offering massages, activities, buying handmade things and just the annoyance of workers passing by in loud tractors or ATVs. I understand people have jobs to do, but I definitely couldn’t really truly enjoy the beach in peace. Keep that in mind but I suspect all the resorts are likely this way. I would probably stay here again nonetheless because staff is friendly and the resort is nice. I felt safe as a solo traveler.

The resort was beautiful. Most of the people were very attentive. You know the guy at the resort. Israel was one of the best they have on staff asked for him the food and all the restaurants was two out of five stars. I got better food at the buffets in America. There are a lot of nice animals running around, but they defecate in a lot of places, the room was very clean. The hot tub was very clean and we spent time in the hot tub every night. Now here’s where the trip gets a little sketchy do not book any tours at the resort they gouge you with the price you’re better off going into Playa and getting a tour there where you can barter. I actually got sick from eating here and had an accident on the sheets. They charge me $231 when I thought it they end up charging me half so I paid $131 extra and if I didn’t pay it, they wouldn’t let me check out so they don’t have any insurance for their bedsheets if something were to happen. Here’s the kicker though when they came to replace the bedsheets, they had stains on them when we went back down to the lobby to tell them about it. The manager told us that it probably was suntan lotion and not bodily fluid. Maybe he’s right I don’t know, but the empathy was not there. I found out a lot about this trip and I’ll most likely never get a resort because I don’t eat food on the resort anyway the best food is not on the resorts overall two stars out of five.

All of the staff were wonderful. Friendly, courteous and professional. Resort is beautiful and clean. Since it was the slow season, the restaurants take turns closing for a night. Liked all the restaurants that we ate at. Already planning our next visit.

Hotel needs upgrades. Lots of cosmetic issues. Buffet was not great and not all restaurants are always open which makes eating dinner in an all-inclusive difficult. Bars were great and so was staff. Entertainment was good. We had access to 2 other resorts but our resort didn't provide us any information on the other resorts. Online it 8s advertised that they have top shelf liquor but the best vodka they had was absolute. To me that is not top shelf. For beer you had one option. No other beer available. Probably wouldn't do an all inclusive again.

This was our second time visiting it has become our anniversary destination, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, multiple staff members remembered us by name after a year. The food was amazing especially the duck confit from aroma. It has the perfect blend of quiet relaxation along with great daytime and nightlife parties/activities.

This is an amazing property. You feel so safe. It is big enough to offer many things but small enough that it is all walkable. This was my second visit to this resort. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Jovita one of the servers is so kind efficient and lovely to chat with. The entertainment staff is amazing and works so hard all day to keep everyone having fun especially Luna. The restaurant choices are decent but a few more options would be nice.
