Unfortunately, the food options were not good. We did opt to upgrade at Samurai, the Japanese restaurant and did enjoy that meal experience. The buffet options were mostly lukewarm and bland tasting.

the facility was very pretty and clean. Rooms had a musty smell and some of the areas in the pool need need to be repaired (tilles missing etc.) Food is good but same breakfast everyday in the buffet. Not alot as to shopping within the facility either.

Positives - drinks and food were good; staff in speciality restaurants/buffet and reception area friendly; pool (when open) nice and usually plenty of beds available in the morning Negatives - beach area is a thin strip and covered in seaweed (nearly every other area had cleared apart from this hotel), unsightly nets and boats moored. Horrid smell- disappointing as we didn't get to use watersport facilities included or even the beach area which is the worst ive ever seen in Mexico; staff at snack bar were miserable and would only take order when approached directly unless you were local; half of pool closed for two days when booking which wasn't advertised (maintenance was supposed to be finished a month earlier); beds hard
