Reef Coco Beach is a GREAT all-inclusive. It’s smaller than the huge places but that’s what we liked. The food, staff & resort were great. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and plan to return!! Thank you Reef Coco Beach!!

I liked the customer service and the pool was beautiful. I didn't like they way it says "ALL INCLUSIVE " when it's not. Depending of the bracelet you have "vip,partners or all Inclusive ". Not all the drinks, bars or restaurants are included. They need to provide also more activities or entertainment to the guests. The rooms are fine good shower and tiles around. We got a couple massage and it was wonderful!. The buffet was ok and the Italian restaurant was very good. We will comeback but i hope they can do some changes.

my dad and i came for 1 week and we were surprised how good this resort was. although the buffet food is not the best in my opinion they have three restaurants you can choose from for supper and those are all impeccable, from the food to the service everything was amazing. staff at the bars and poolside were beyond friendly, welcoming, and very funny. the beach was beautiful and had netting around to not allow any seaweed in the beach where you can swim. there’s also people on the resort to offer different excursions, and different shops set up at night by the pool. it’s also about a 5-10 minute walk from 5th street which is very convenient. i will definitely be coming back here hopefully very soon!

Very pretty grounds with a nice pool. Courteous staff. However, buffet food was always barely warm and minimal options. The room smelled like mold/mildew, with a lot of drain flies. There was also a strange sulfur smell outside of our room. Did not meet expectations. 😒

What a gem! If you are looking for a quaint, clean, good time where you can walk to 5th avenue, swim in beautiful ocean water, and hear good music by the pool, then this is the place for you. This is not a sprawling, huge, 5 star resort but it is the perfect little slice of paradise to come and enjoy all that Mexico has to offer. We travel to Mexico often & will put this on our small list of favorite return hotels, Thank you Reef Coco Beach for a wonderful time filled with beautiful memories!

We absolutely love Reef Coco Beach Resort! Having visited twice, we’re already looking forward to returning next March. One of the highlights for us is the resort’s walkability—it’s just a short stroll to the vibrant downtown Playa del Carmen, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture without the need for taxis. Additionally, the resort offers bike rentals, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. The intimate size of the resort means we never had to worry about long waits for restaurant reservations. Dining options include a variety of cuisines, such as Italian, Mexican, and Japanese, with the Japanese restaurant offering an interactive teppanyaki experience. The staff is always accommodating, and the relaxed atmosphere truly helps us unwind and de-stress. Overall, The Reef Coco Beach Resort offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and cultural immersion, making it a standout choice for an all-inclusive getaway.

Loved the swim up bar in the pool, also, a great pool. The property isn't huge so easy to get to things on the property. Great entertainment right at the hotel. Walking distance to downtown Playa del Carmen/5th Ave and felt totally safe walking down there. Didn’t use the spa service, but heard the massages were awesome. Things that weren't the best, but not a deal breaker for us is the beds are hard. I like a softer bed. Some people really liked the beds. More service in the buffet. Sometimes sat there for quite a while to get water or any drinks. If you try to get them yourself at the bar, they tell you someone will come to our table. The last thing is a beach bar that is open during the day. Like I said, the last 3 items are not deal breakers. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Overall we had a great stay at The Reef Coco Beach, the food was really good and the drinks were consistently tasty. The rooms however are a bit dated and the service is sub-par. The 5 minute walk to 5th Ave was great for shopping and enterainment. Take the free shuttle to the sister property and enjoy the jungle/beach experience.

This is a cute smaller all-inclusive property than what we are used to. We stayed for 4 nights. It was clean, decent food and drink options. Buffet was a bit small but had everything we normally eat. Excellent service with a smile. Spa options were a good value. We would stay here again. 5th Avenue was walking distance, we went from 6-9:30pm and felt very safe. It has several places to shop and eat. Great location.

Food was terrible, made us sick multiple times. Rules were not communicated properly therefore had to pay extra money. No pool side service, seemed to be under staffed. Will never be back and will make sure to share my experience with others.
