Our stay at Hotel Villa del Sueño was absolutely lovely. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with charming South American décor and a warm, romantic ambiance — definitely ideal for couples. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were terrific, and many spoke English, which made everything seamless. The restaurant service was top-notch and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner with live music and dancing that made the evening feel truly special. A unique touch was the small jewelry display at the front desk — one of the owners actually drove over when she heard we were looking, just to share the story behind her pieces. We couldn’t resist and happily took a few home with us. The pool was clean and well kept (even though we didn’t use it much since we arrived late), and the location is fantastic — walkable to shopping and just five minutes from a beautiful beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This is a honest review and I traveled in Costa Rica at least twice a year since 2017.The room and bathroom were very small. There is no fridge in the room. The safe box is the smallest I ever seen and we couldn't fit out laptop inside.The breakfast was very good.The food in the restaurant was pricey. The music was good. The resort people were very nice and the room was very clean. Overal,I would recommend this resort of this fit your expectations.

Room was perfectly fine but not the highlight. The highlights are the location/convenience to the beach. Check out the live music - we had a great time watching a show from the bar and the balcony. The included breakfast is a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend

Our stay at Hotel Villa del Sueño was perfect. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. The walk to the beach was short (less than five minutes) and the complimentary breakfast each morning was top notch. Easy parking and lovely pool and grounds.

This is a beautiful property within 10 min walking distance to the beach. Breakfast is so delicious and fresh the staff are very kind and accommodating. They helped us get a dinner reservation and allowed us to check in early. Just fyi there is not much within walking distance but lots of restaurants at playa coco which is about a 10 minute drive

The staff is extraordinary and made us feel very special. The grounds are beautiful, everything is spotless and upgraded. An evening of dinner and dancing to the Dream Machine us as magical as ever. And the proximity to the beach….. you can hear the waves crashing at night
