Hotel was as described. Spacious, clean and staff were helpful. Ample car parking. Location was very good for Poole with a lot of the town within 15 minutes walk including the harbour.

Had the best meal I've had in a long time, the service was not great i had to go and get my own drink, and then got delayed and overcharged at the bar. When I returned my starter was already there. But the food and the view were amazing. Although the view was great you noticed that the window seal had a crack about 3 foot long and some of the front edge was not painted. So for a room at the price we were paying this should have been sorted. Breakfast was good but disjointed you had to do your own toast and drinks. I did not understand why you would serve just a half a mushroom? and I could have eaten another sausage, but it was very nice.

Fabulous location. Very convenient for what we had planned during our stay. Nice sizable from, with balcony facing Poole Harbour...wrong time of year to take full advantage!

Very welcoming on arrival, lovely room clean and tidy. The bed was a bit on the small side and the shower could be a bit more powerful maybe a different shower head that is a bit more adjustable so that you can back in the bath a little. Bar lounges were excellent with lovely seating areas and plenty of space.Outside seating gave you a lovely sea view. Food was good but would possibly like to see nuts/crisps available in the bar. My one disappointment was when the draught beer was not working we had to get bottles of beer which was turning out more expensive with the cost of £6 a small bottle compared to £7 a pint, maybe in cases like this a deal should be offered. Any member of staff we came across were cery friendly and approachable. Will definitely be back Would/will definitely return

Big room and nice staff. Windows tricky to open and hot room

Nice, older style hotel in great location near quayside. In pedestrian street so have to park elsewhere nearby and early morning noisy bin collections!! Didn't find a lift up to second floor! Really comfy beds
