Somewhat recently refurbished but still felt not clean in in need of maintenance. Shower was barely a trickle.
Solid option if you need to stay near the airport. Room was clean and AC worked well. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and the omelette station made it stand out from other hotels
Stayed one night near the airport and had a good experience. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and check-in was quick. Breakfast was better than expected, especially the fresh omelette station.
The staff was amazing and very attentive. Check in was easy and they gave me great recommendations for things to do around downtown savannah. The room needs repairs. The shower in the room had a broken shower door rail. Each of the rooms we have stayed will need major repairs.
Also, it was confusing that the name Clarks Inn is really Cottonwood. Not sure why the deception???
The shower head had no water flow. I informed the front desk several times, and they promised to send a repairman, but no one showed up even late at night. Later, they asked us to switch rooms, which was extremely troublesome.
Room smelled like bleach...I imagine covering up a bad smell. Our room was near the Laundry which smelled like a boys football locker room. Mold on shower floor ( A lot ) It was mainly the smell in the hallways and bedroom. We left as soon as we saw the room ...even asked for another but it was the same.....watch out for the exceptional comments.....NOT TRUE. I had to ask Expedia for the refund. They did not offer one. Thank you Expedia. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The building has Cottonwood Suites in it not Clark. Created delays and confusion. Both beds had hair on the sheets and pillow cases. It took housekeeping more than 30 min to arrive and change. I put my personal clothing over the pillow cases to sleep. And the sink and shower were moldy. Didn't want to step foot in the shower so we smipped it. Terrible stay.

Aside from a beautiful clean room, the lobby was still decorated for the Christmas season. We have a strong feeling thay once the hotel becomes Cottonwood Suites by Hilton, there will be none better!
The Expedia app call the hotel Clarks Inn, but the signs out front say Candlewood suites. The hotel is being renovated the rooms have new beds and flooring and lighting. The breakfast area was in transition, but the breakfast was fine.
Conveniently located by the highway.
My complaint is that I paid through the Expedia app and then they charged me at the hotel and I am having trouble getting in contact with someone.

had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I loved the live omelet station—it was fantastic. The room smelled really good, was comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!
