We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly! Unfortunately, there was only one elevator working. The shower was very small, probably could do without the tub and make the shower bigger

Way too pricey and didn’t like the resort fee of $35/day at all. My room was with a garden view, and advertised by the staff as "quiet," however, the noise from the restaurant/party outside was significant on one of the nights. My room was very dark and quite small. No need to wash towels every day, would want the property be more environmentally responsible. The location was excellent. Would want more services for the price I paid. I doubt I will stay there again. There are other properties in the area priced more reasonably.

It’s a beautiful hotel that is close to great restaurants (as well as having a good one on property). You are walking distance from shopping and some attractions. Great place!

There is a $35.00 service charge per night, on top of the already inflated nightly rate. The restaurant on site is very expensive and the food is probably the worst I ever had in a hotel. The bed was hard and the pillows shrink to 2inches after laying on them at night. The property is clean and the staff were very nice/polite. A few improvements and this hotel could go back up to five stars.

Beautiful rooms and close to harbor and restaurants. On our ten day trip to Maine, we stayed here for two days, five days in Bar Harbor, then back to Portland Harbor Hotel before flying out. Will return!!!

A $35 daily fee was recently imposed. Was not happy with that. Plus $40 per day for parking made our stay over $400 per day. Nice place, but excessive cost. It was our third and last stay at this hotel.

Great location for nearby restaurants, and shops, have stayed here before, but this was the first time we went out to the courtyard and enjoyed a drink, and also sat by the fire at night. My only ding on the hotel was there were some old cushions that they probably could’ve removed from view of the guests enjoying the courtyard but by now maybe they’ve been removed. The location is fantastic.

Beautiful facility, great staff, watch for the fee

Five stars for the facility and staff. The girl at the front desk was fantastic. Everyone smiles and says hello. The rooms are outstanding. I gave five stars because of the people. Unfortunately I cannot give five stars to management. They have a $35 resort fee. This is not a resort! Yes you get a credit toward their restaurant. Their restaurant has the worst reviews in the City so I am not interested until they fix it. Resort fees are an annoyance at a resort - but have no place here. if you want to encourage people to use your restaurant just raise the price of the room by $35, and give a meal credit. The girl at the front desk did a tremendous job handling me on the resort fee issue. She explained the value. I was not angry but said I would never have booked the hotel if I realized it. She removed the fee with no problem and kept her cool the entire time. The way she handled the issue is why we are still five stars!
