Front desk not able to assist

I arrived at the hotel at 3:10pm to check in , the front desk told me that check in is at 4pm so I had to carry all my stuff to the waiting room and wait . The hotel was empty not busy at all , this is the first time I have this situation were the hotel could not assist to just gave me the room earlier . Any ways I thought it was unprofessional not having the courtesy to just gave us the room at that moment .

Great hotel near the airport highly recommended

Great start . receptionist very friendly.room very good with a small balcony I was not expecting.twin room beds very comfortable.phone in room along with tea and coffee making facilities.large TV with a few English channels.bathroom big with nice rainfall shower also a hairdryer.had breakfast 10 euros each very good value.thought it was. Only going to be continental,but bacon,sausage,beans and scrambled eggs also.hotel is 1 stop from the airport by tram stop is Botica.you can see the hotel behind the mercedes dealership.its a 90 second walk to it once you cross the busy road.when we come back to Porto will be booking this hotel again.thank you to all staff at the hotel
