The room was newly renovated and absolutely beautiful! The room was right near the beach, like 20 steps to get into the ocean. Unfortunately we were right next to construction which was loud and at times, started early in the morning. Otherwise everything was beautiful, clean and convenient! We enjoyed the food as well!!

The room was very comfortable and kept very clean. We had to shut the dehumidifier off every night as it was very loud. The air conditioner kept the room temp very consistent and was very quiet. The only downside was that the hall way was very noisy starting at 8am from both the cleaning staff and early risers.

We absolutely loved our time at the Divi and really enjoyed being able to walk over to the other dining and shopping areas at the connected resort. The activities each night were fun and often got everyone watching involved. The live music and dining experiences were our absolute favorite and we definitely plan on coming back. Friendly staff that were always very attentive and helpful!

The property is located on a beachfront, which provides gorgeous views and perfect white noise for relaxing and sleeping. Almost all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, but there is no elevator in the two story property. There was a variety of restaurant choices at the property, however, I found the ones at their sister property, Tamarind, exceptional. Of note, the property is undergoing renovation and repairs in some areas which I found to be a little annoying as I was trying to relax and get away from distractions like that. Plus, the debris and dust from the concrete mixture left residue on nearby walk ways and on counters where food and beverages were being served, so that was definitely was concerning. Lastly, I believe the food staff could use a refresher course on hand hygiene because they should know that if you are sweeping, wiping down tables, countertops, etc. and a guest has approached to make a order, you should wash your hands with soap, use the paper towel to turn off the faucet, and put sanitizer on your hands before proceeding. Also note, if you intend to use a taxi driver to take you on a tour of the island, and he/she quotes you a price, IT IS PER HOUR; NOT FOR THE TOUR. THIS CAN RANGE BETWEEN $55-$100/PER HOUR!!! AND HAVE YOUR LIST OF THINGS YOU WANT TO SEE FIRST, AS THEY START THE HOURLY RATE AS SOON AS THEY PICK YOU UP, AND ACCEPT CASH ONLY!!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!

Everything was perfect. We were disappointed that we chose a week where the Oceanside Casitas were being gut-renovated but we were okay in the Lanai building. Divi needs to replace all of their ancient palapas are ugly eyesores. The bandstand and main areas around the pool need substantial upgrading to composite decking. All service, food, check-in was otherwise outstanding. We loved Club Margot at the Tamarijn, our second visit.
