The worst hotel ever

There is nothing good about this place but location and view,furniture was old and smelly ,they offer nothing in the room not even napkins or water,w e had trouble with insects one day we woke up with big spider running across the room the other day cockroaches the toilet window was so old and not sealed and any insect can go through it.they put sensors on the doors and windows so every time u open a door including the toilet door the AC goes off.the first day we arrived the restaurant refused to serve us claiming that we didn't confirm that we will have dinner early in the morning so there is no food for us.yes every morning u have to confirm and choose what are you going to eat for dinner.the view from the restaurant was really good thought.

We were disappointed that during our 6 week holiday in Seychelles and South Africa this was the only accommodation that had a charge for wifi, I thought it was included from the booking information. Also be aware that it is a very hilly sight, require lot of effort from room to pool, breakfast etc. Convenient to ferry, but not within walking distance of restraunts. Great view from room

Beautiful Views !!!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. (Originally suppose to stay for 6 but missed our connection) Pros: - Beautiful views. Just stunning views from our room. We stayed in Kato (name of the room) - infinity pool is spectacular. Wasn't crowded. We had the whole pool to ourselves for an entire day ! Also other very cute areas to sit and sunbathe. - very convenient to travel to other islands as it is a quick walk to the jetty. There is a inner road that takes you to the jetty and bus stop. We were able to easily travel to La Digue from here and grab taxis and bus. Take the bus ! Very cheap and easy, only 5 rupees. Taxis are expensive (even compared to NYC prices) We didn't not rent a car. -we did a tour of curieuse island w the hotel which included transfer boat to island. Lunch BBQ. Then snorkeling. Whole day was 2600 rupee for both of us. We enjoyed the day - we paid about 200$/night. Only breakfast included. I think for the views etc it was a good deal. Cons: - dinner wasn't that great at all. We only ate here once. 25 euro per person. We opted to take the bus down to cote de or. We loved El Goulue cafe! Very friendly and nice and delicious good. We also did try pirogue. Also nice and good food. - room had this horribly itchy blanket. And beside that only provide a sheet. I expected a nicer bed. We never turned on the tv. Too busy looking out the window. - internet was 10 euro. Only one device at a time. And this truly was slow if it worked and sometimes didn't wo

A very enjoyable stay and great value for money. It is well worth hiring a car which Colibri happily arrange for 50 Euro/day. Praslin is a beautiful island and well worth exploring. Meals in Colibri were OK. breakfast was pretty basic and could easily be improved. Dinners at 25 Euros a head were good value. Rooms were big and lovely view over the bay. The hotel offers complimentary pick up and drop off at the nearby jetty. Don't miss Anse Lazio beach. One of the best in the world.

Great view, but facilities do not measure up.

This place was really disappointing despite the great location. The overall impression was that no corner was left uncut, who installs a non thermostatically controlled shower these days? The rustic design to the shower room resulted in a floor which was extremely uncomfortable to walk on in your bare feet though it might look ok in a photo. The welcome drink on arrival was the only freebie on offer, no toiletries or shower gel so make sure you each your own. The promise of a free one day car hire if we paid in cash on arrival did not materialise and we were given a free mea in their restaurant instead but magically they did manage to arrange for us to rent a more expensive car as long as we paid for it. A problem with an air conditioning unit of a neighbouring room meant that it vibrated against the metal roof of our chalet every time it switched on during the night which was not exactly conducive to a good night's sleep. It was fixed the next day after we complained but the free bottle of wine we were given with our meal as compensation was little consolation. This place really does not justify the premium price charged.

Unser Spungbrett zur Einstieg aufs Schiff. Nett, sehr sauber, zuvorkommend, early check in wurde ermöglicht. Essen war sehr lecker und preiswert. Wir waren super zufrieden.

Absolutely amazing place. We had room with stunning sea view. Staff is super friendly. Guest relationship manager Bikesh took the time during dinner to talk to all guests personally. The General Manager did the same on New Year's. Everyone taking very good care of the guests. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Definitely will be back.

Parfait

Très bel hotel avec un jardin magnifique. Le repas (soir) tres bon et copieux. Nous devions partir avant l ouverture du petit dejeuner (7h30), nous avons commandé un panier que nous avons récupéré le soir. Piscine petite mais largement suffisante pour se tremper après une journée de visite. Je reviendrais :)

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten nach Rücksprache auch früher einchecken. Die beiden gebuchten Unterkünfte waren sauber und boten einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal, das bereits vor der Anreise, aber auch bei der Mietwagenanmietung und dem Transfer zum Hafen unterstützt hat, genauso wie die sehr zuvorkommenden Kellner im Restaurant.

Chambre avec vue sur l océan Indien

Un service aux petits soins. La chambre était juste magnifique avec ce balcon avec vue sur la mer. La climatisation était de très bonne qualité. Nous avons également dîné deux soirs et pour 25 euros le repas c est vraiment très bien copieux, bon et de jolis plats.

Great place To be

We had room with sea view and it was very nice! At nights room was smelling A little moldy :-\ but otherwise everything was very nice and clean. Breakfest was good and pool area were cool and there was plenty of sunbeds In privacy. Hotel is walking distance from ferry, but path To hotel is little narrow and uphill about 100 meters. We did walk that both ways :-)
