Reviews that suggest to ignore other reviews stating the check-in process isn’t bad are either very fortunate or very oblivious. We experienced a huge delay 5hours in the check in process. We also saw poor souls each of our next 6 days lingering around the lobby in a similar manner to us hoping that they too could just get to their rooms quicker. The restaurants were good however be very aware they all have a dress code. I can possibly understand the French fine dining restaurant but to have requirements for a Mexican restaurant is absurd. The staff was hit and miss. They do however have a great time interacting with each other. I wish they would have feigned some of that enthusiasm towards us. While sometimes the motions and actions were there the large majority of staff were the antithesis of hospitable there were a few standout employees that went above and beyond. So it’s not impossible to receive a great experience but just very few and very far between. The resort is large to a fault. If you wanted to sit poolside or beachside but take your kids to the water park get ready to walk. I would say it takes 12-15 minutes to get there which is the same time frame it would take to walk a literal mile. We found the same/ same hallways and towers to be a bit difficult to navigate but we were able to have a better internal compass after the second day of trial and error guessing. Overall we would go back to DR but not to a Lopesan resort.

All in all was great, rooms were clean, ala carte restaurants were good. Buffet had some great variety. Lots of amenities on the resort, gym, arcade, casino, pharmacy etc.. would come back again!

Great stay!

It was a great experience. So many options for food(5 or 6 restaurants inaddition to open buffwt), friendly stuff. Clean room. Nice and calm beach. There was some seaweed on the water and shore, but that did not bother us. Apparently, seaweed is common on the ocean side of the island. Beach was nice, calm water and nice sand. Our 2 year old enjoyed it.

I had a great time. The property and amenities are amazing and although the service grom the staff at the bars and pool area need to show more happiness of working there, they were all very attentive to us. Our Concierge Fermin was extraordinary!! Loved our trip.

The staff is super kind and friendly, the food is delicious and varied, and the pools and common areas are just amazing. El check fue un desastre. El hotel si esta perfecto y todas las areas espectacularmente cuidadas. El personal del hotel estaba a altura con algunos empleados sobresalientes. Tuve que recurir al Chef ejecutivo del hotel para poder reservar a la carta en los restaurantes de cena y me ayudo en todo lo que necesite haciendo de nuestra estadia un lujo. Mis felicitaciones al Chef Ejecutivo "Chefi" por todo lo que hizo por nosotros. La limpieza de la habitacion, cambio de toallas y mini bar brillaron por su ausencia.
