stayed in a swim up suite, and loved the pool access and swim up bar access. wonderful dining options at this resort. our only issue was with the room selection thru expedia. we were led to believe by expedia that this room was available with two beds (it was a girls trip) but at check in found out it was only available with one king bed. checking the resort website would have clarified that. not reading the small print on the expedia site (bed request not guaranteed) led to a little awkward sleeping situation but we made the best of it. Also, the bathrooms are just open areas to the rest of the room, with transparent doors on the toilet and shower - FYI not good for privacy!

We were double booked for yhis trip. We paid twice and No full or partial refund was offered Management should be ashamed of this scam. Expedia was no help. We spoke with another couple that paid for vip service and was given the family option. They too believe they were scammed. Lots of other places to visit in punta cana

This was our second stay at this hotel and it has been amazing both times. Staff (Karin our butler, Yessica, Alex, server and chef fantastic, servers Johnathon and Marino, the beach bar staff, room staff everyone, all so friendly and helpful and made our vacation fantastic. Food and drink was delicious. We hope to come back again next year! Wonderful.

I really enjoyed the classiness of the resort, with its beautiful beach and turquoise waters. The pools were excellent, clean not crowded at all and spacious. All the I ate was just delicious, over ate just because of its deliciousness. Thanks to all staff for making our stay wonderful, don't know when but we'll be back!

This was an amazing trip. We traveled with a group of 4, and everything was smooth and predictable. Majestic Elegance was an amazing resort, and we will go back next year. The property was amazing, but the people everywhere were the absolute best.

We thought the food quality was decent overall, to better than average, compared to a couple of other AI resorts (1 Jamaica and 1 other PC). The room was well-appointed and the Nespresso was a nice touch. The staff were overall very pleasant. The beach was perfect with plenty of chairs and towels in our club areas. The only downside was the decor/theme in the various restaurants (Italian, French and Japanese) we thought the lighting and decorations could be significantly improved to add to the ambiance. In our opinion, this would be a nice time to remodel those and make them feel more special.
