It was an overall interesting stay at the property. The hotel staff were friendly. However, the experience was impacted by several issues. The water pump broke on the second day, leaving us without water for an entire day, unfortunately coinciding with the day of our ATV excursion, so we were unable to shower afterward. For the remainder of our stay, the water was consistently cold.
I reached out to the Expedia concierge for assistance but was only advised to wait for the issue to be resolved, which was disappointing, especially considering the stay was paid in full for a family vacation.
Additionally, dining required advance reservations at most restaurants. Without one, guests are limited to the buffet, which was not of the same quality as the other dining options. Thankfully, our Expedia concierge secured reservations for us in advance, but one evening I wanted to dine at the Italian restaurant and was told that without a reservation, even for takeout, I could not be served. I also found it unusual that guests are not permitted to take food back to their rooms.
Despite the kind staff, the challenges we experienced made the stay less enjoyable than expected, and I hope steps will be taken to improve these areas moving forward.
