This hotel is not in a walkable area from airport. To walk there from the airport one must pass at least two highway intersections. We asked for shuttle to take us from hotel to the airport in the morning for 5 euros per person. They dropped us in a parking lot in the airport and we had to walk and drag our luggage. It was not similar to our other airport shuttle experiences that usually drop you infront of airport entrance. Room was clean but the AC was off and the heat was on. We had no control on our room temperature. When I called the front desk they said AC is only for summer! and it is against European rules to turn AC on after summer! They were kind enough to turn the heat off. Outside temperature was 16 degrees.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Some great recommendations from the front desk staff regarding our visit to Venice. Beautiful room, great location near the airport with easy transportation to Venice’s attractions.

The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Really the only place to eat but food was very good. Unless you have the hand strength of a gorilla don’t plan on using the hair dryer. There is a switch that has to be held down during use which is extremely tough to push.

Location was great for an early flight to the airport (cannot imagine another reason to stay at that location). It was disappointing that they did not offer the shuttle at a time that would allow reasonable arrival time to the airport for a 6 am international flight (of which there were many!)- even though we requested it at the time of the reservation. That said, it was a quick and easy walk to the airport (even at 4am). Given the cost of the room however (and that the shuttle is advertised), it would have been nice had that also been offered at 4am (vs 4:30am).

The stay was good including the breakfast buffet. The second day Nicolo was very helpful. On our arrival though, the night time staff was not helpful at all. The shuttle service ends at 12. We called a few minutes before 12 midnight, since our flight was delayed. They would not send the shuttle for us. We ended up waiting more than half an hour waiting in the cab line, which was really exhausting.

Friendly helpful staff, clean spacious modern room, and 15 minute walk to airport and water taxi. Unfortunately, the description on Expedia was inaccurate. I found at least 4 inaccuracies. There was NO access to a nearby fitness center (10 minute bus ride after 8 minute walk), and no newspapers in lobby. The hotel offers plastic water bottles (which was convenient, but goes against the environmental ethics they are taking credit for.
