This property was ideally located. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and the social room was a fun place to play games and do puzzles etc. Overall it was very charming and I would definitely stay there again. Ps- I would also recommend the breakfast basket option for at least one morning, it was a nice touch.

Staff are very friendly able to answer my questions. The hotel is located in the center of everything on the busy street of Rue st jean, many restaurants around. We tried the breakfast basket offered from the hotel 18$ per person plus taxes, it was decent if you want a quick breakfast on a lazy morning. The only thing I see could improve is the amenities in the room, no hair iron, no slippers, no toothbrush or toothpaste, no shower cap.

Front desk staff were professional and very helpful with directions and recommendations. Our 3-night stay before boarding a cruise-ship was fabulous in every respect. While the room was on the street side, we had no issues with noise at night. Room size was adequate, beds comfortable, coffee anytime in the ground floor lounge a plus. We didn’t avail of their breakfast delivery and found outstanding sit down cafes nearby. Everything was walkable, but ride-share worked best in few instances. Will stay here again without hesitation.

Unique boutique hotel in old building with modern updates & amenities. The staff was exceptional - especially Pierrot - always available to answer questions and help with restaurant, tour/ticket information, map/walking directions, taxis. Warm and friendly hotel on a busy, happening street in the heart of Old Quebec.

Hotel Du Vieux was excellent! This is a great location in old Quebec near restaurants, attractions, and lots of places to people watch. The restaurant, Hortus, is delicious which is a great addition. It is a walkable location and quiet at night--what more could you want?!

The place to be

Perfect location. In the middle of it all. Very helpful front desk. Very friendly staff. Loved the downstairs area: comfortable, friendly atmosphere, lots of games, excellent coffee, lovely surroundings. The room was spacious, well designed, extremely quiet. Loved the bottles of water refilled on a daily basis. That was perfect especially in this hot weather. A few crumbs were left on the floor one morning after room service and I understand and respect the desire to be eco-friendly but if a towel is left on the floor, it would be nice to replace it. All in all a perfect stay and would go back in a heartbeat
