I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. After a long flight, we arrived for check‑in around 10:20 PM only to be told our reservation had been canceled — without any call, text, or email notification. According to staff, a water pipe had broken and they “couldn’t accommodate us,” which, of course, was not our fault.
Instead of helping us find a solution, the hotel left us scrambling near midnight to find our own accommodation. To make matters worse, they had promised to cover the cost of the alternative hotel, yet later denied ever saying so, going back and forth rather than taking responsibility.
This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to value its guests. A simple courtesy message or proactive arrangement would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, based on how this situation was handled, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting reliability or accountability.
