We used to live in RPV and were one of the early clients to dine at the property. We actually almost dined there every weekend because we want the resort to thrive. We have since moved away and this was our first stay at the resort. Our room has an extremely slow bathroom sink drainage which we didn't anticipate for such a beautiful resort. We dined at the Catalina Kitchen, and was a little disappointed with my order of pork chop, which I thought was a little undercooked. The pork smell was pungent and the middle was a little too pink for my enjoyment. When I told the waiter, he said the chef cooked it "medium". He did offer to take it back and recook to the temperature I want. But we already waited too long for the meal and too tired to wait for a replacement. The waiter should have seen that I barely touch my meat at all and only finished the slaw and some fries. We ordered two dessert, maybe he could have offered one complimentary dessert or coffee. Anyway, we love the resort, but this stay experience was not as enjoyable as we anticipated.
