It was FINE.

Food was ok. Drinks were ready and available. It was definitely more a party atmosphere. At 12:30 I was woken up to someone yelling at a staff member about not being able to get some reservation. So since it was so late I am guessing they could not get on the party bus that goes around Rarotonga. Over all it was fine. It was kept up well, but you could tell it needed some renovations. If you just need a place to stay and grab some drinks its fine. Their beach is beautiful and really gorgeous scenery.

Bring ear plugs, there are many, many roosters on the island. Deco is tired but good beds and good A/C. Only some rooms with TVs despite pictures, but only 1 (local) channel anyway, apparently multi-channel TVs are on the way, which suggests more reinvesting is happening which is great. Wonderful staff.

Was a fabulous stay. People were fantastic, facilities lovely. Pool and bar great. Swimming in the reefs was nice. The only reason why this isn’t a 5 star review is that a bunch of people decided to party at about 2am in the foyer and were very loud and the staff did nothing to intervene. Great stay but would have appreciated consideration to other guests with noise.

What I loved about this property was how social it was. We easily made friends with other people there and it made it a really enjoyable stay. I would say this would be a good recommendation for solo travelers. Whilst I can commend the services of the hotel, the service at times was not up to standard. The barman could have been friendlier and all the staff seemed a little, unhappy? Breakfast was a point to this as on more than one occasion stuff was not replenished to a point there was consistently a lack of core items such as milk, cutlery and butter. Overall I would stay again and recommend as the general vibe was good, bar and pool is great place to chill or meet people and the room service and cleanliness was always good!

Upon arriving, we were billed too much; they realised and voided the transaction and rebilled, so $1500 stay cost nearly $3500. Told 2 days went abck to them and another staff member advised it would be 3 days, after 3 days, we were told 7 days for the voided money to be back in our account, but it took 7 days, and no compensation was offered, just told sorry we can't do anything about it. - So I was down over $1600 for the whole trip - why didn't they just credit me the small imbalance? Then there were renovations taking place for the last three days in the kitchen, so limited kitchen facilities. Again, no compensation offered, just a letter on our door the day before they started. Then, to top it off, Friends also had someone walk into their room while being intimate - what a classy joint.

I did not like the mould in the bathroom around the edges of the ceilings and the shower door was broken and so was the side panel was very loose. The towels were very thin and old and frayed. Loved the outdoor seating lovely and private at 306” the room was large and clean but the pillows were smelly

Self catering unit A4 at Club Raro was excellent. Mostly new electrical kitchen products, really good sized room. Would definitely book the same unit again. All staff were very professional, friendly and respectful. Highly recommended.
