The staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms we had were nice, clean and we enjoyed the spa which was also very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was great food. Hotwl was walkable to many places including city center. Would/will stay here again!

Iceland

Hotel is clean and modern. We only spend one night before our flight. Small spa available, nice and clean but nothing exciting. Room was comfortable but hot and had a view on a garbage dumpster, will attach picture. Was ok for one night.

Not what I expected

The hotel has a modern vibe. The rooms are minimalistic, but serviceable. We did not use the spa but it looked nice. Issues we had. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets were rough. The breakfast, which costs extra, was below average; the coffee was blah and food options were less than stellar. If going to the restaurant for dinner, expect to pay exorbatant amounts, even by Iceland standards. Overall, for what was advertised as a high end hotel, the Grandi was disappointing. If visiting Keyfljavik again, i would choose a hotel closer to town center. I will say, the desk staff was friendly and atrentive.

Great Stay

Great location hotel for a quick 24 hour in Reykjavik! They have awesome storage lockers if you get there before check-in time and were very accommodating with a toddler crib for our little one. There is a delicious bakery next door which is an added plus! We would definitely stay here again in the future.
