Great hotel if you want to be within walking distance to everything in Reykjavík. The sleeper sofa was awesome to fit 3 in a room and with how expensive Iceland is it was great to have a fridge and stove for some meals

We stayed at a different hotel on our first leg of the trip. I decided to book Hotel Fron for one night on our way home. The room was very spacious but choppy. A lot of step ups. The shower and water smelt like sulfur/rotten eggs. The breakfast was not good at all compared to other breakfast we had. I was not satisfied with this hotel, I would stay elsewhere in Iceland. The location is prime though.

Jal at check in was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the room was fine. The location is perfect, walking distance from stop 6 on the FlyBus, and in the middle of many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We would stay there again.

Good Stay !

Hotel Fron had everything we needed for our last night in Reykjavik. We parked our rental car in a parking structure which was about three blocks away . The hotel is in a fun and exciting area , so when we went out to get dinner , there were good choices within two blocks . We ate at a gastropub which was expensive but good , had gelato , and visited the Big Lebowski bar. Breakfast at Fron was okay - nothing amazing … but still it was a very good hotel for what we needed .

Great apartment style in the center of the city. If you have large luggage you should ask about being dropped off from behind (taxi cant enter area by front). Otherwise perfect.

This property is in the middle of the city so the location is perfect. However, parking is an issue. Staff were very helpful though in directing us to a parking garage that was close and was very reasonably priced. The hotel set-up is a bit odd with a main building and an attached building.
