Your home away from home

The room was fantastic and very clean, the only downside was the door to enter the room had a noticeable gap at the bottom and right side that made it to where anyone outside the door can likely hear what you’re doing. Also the bathroom was gorgeous.

The walls are so thin. There were young people drinking alcohol as they made their way down. You can hear people watching tv in the next room and baby crying. You can also hear the cars from the 8th floor.

The hotel itself was absolutely pristine. The women working at the front desk were great. My issue was with an order that I placed at the restaurant. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese. We paid the $13.25 for one (which I think was absolutely INSANELY priced) but she was hungry. My wife went to the bar, picked it up and it literally was black. It was so burnt that it was inedible. I then had to put clothes on (I had my pjs on), take the food back and ask for it to be remade. I asked the gentleman working why anyone would sent food out looking like that and cooked like that. He got this irritated look on his face and was about to try to argue with me but clearly decided to just have it remade. His response was the cook had trouble melting the cheese. Problem or not, there is no excuse to send food out to a customer that was given. Unfortunately, the whole issue and interaction made my wonderful hotel stay an annoyance at that point.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was a little noisy considering all the soccer players that had come into town. However, the staff and clean room a Made up for the noise. Free breakfast and ample space for parking. The neighborhood has good restaurants and stores.

We enjoyed so many features of our stay. The only challenge was we didn’t get to use the pool and hot tub area. There were too many children and the area was a wreck. I recommend a time restriction on that area. All guest should have been accommodated. Not just the children. I paid, chose, this location for that area and was sorely disappointed that we did not get an opportunity to use it. The meals, drinks, check in, room were splendid. But, I wanted to enjoy the full experience. That’s what we paid for. Warn guest, schedule times for use, anything, but please be sure all guests are accommodated.
