The staff was ABSENT at check in, at 8 pm, for 30 minutes, after we had taken the effort to call the desk ahead of time to let them know we'd be arriving at 8 pm. We were actually worried that there had been some kind of crime because the main phone was off the hook, there was take out food left on the reception desk, and there was NO ONE around anywhere. We actually looked in the pantry area thinking someone was tied up, or worse, back there. The young woman was rude ... curt ... and when she appeared out of a side door spoke to me as if I had soome nerve interrupting the "other things she has to do".
She and the other employee on the premises, who appeared out of nowhere after about an hour did not act as if they should be in the hospitality industry.
Otherwise the room was nice.
