So central yet so quiet

Situated in a quiet street just a minute from bustling Piazza Barberini. Lovely ambience, very friendly service. Spacious room with a good bed and very comfortable pillows. Would love to stay there again!

Hotel is in a great location and is very comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with hot and cold options and enjoyed it. My room was comfortable and quiet, but a bit small and no hot water one morning. Staff was helpful and attentive.

We really need enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the train station and close to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with tons of options. They let us store our luggage for a couple of hours after we checked out. The service was great.

Our first stay at the Ottocento. Very attractive small hotel - no chain feel. Rooms are good by classical European hotel standards. Staff is welcoming and caring. Hotel offers two great eating options. Roof terrace is a refuge - quiet lunch adjusting from jet lag. Ground floor restaurant has a nice evening buzz. Food itself is very, very good. Location of hotel off the Spanish steps and near Piazza Barberini is good. Walkers will enjoy proximity to Trevi, Pantheon etc. Hill climb is a moderate challenge but justifies a cocktail at the end. Great visit and look forward to return.

Stayed for 7 nights for the first time in Rome as a solo traveller. Hotel was the PERFECT location! 5 mins to Spanish steps, about 10 min to Trevi. Lots of good restaurants/bars & shopping all around. Everyone that worked in the hotel from reception to valet, housekeeping etc were all so kind and accommodating, which made the stay so much more enjoyable! Buffet breakfast was decent! the standard eggs, bacon, salami, cheese etc. Can't go wrong. Good quality. A few things could be improved on though - you can tell the hotel is older and could possibly need a minor reno, maybe an upgrade on the furniture. Bed was ok, not the best but not bad either. Pillows were decently firm. Loved the towel warmer in the washroom. Maybe a recommendation of things to do/what's in the area in the room would have been nice. The elevator is old and takes awhile sometimes. Overall definitely a good stay because of staff & location. Would consider returning!
