It was extremely underwhelming when arriving to the room we were given. It had no life, was small and the double bed we booked was just two single beds pushed together so me and my girlfriend felt apart in the bed. The shower didn’t go higher than Luke warm and was extremely small. The toilet sometimes didn’t flush. The lock on the door I’m not sure if 100% worked. A lot of paint peeling off the wall.

In room 514 the air conditioning did not work all of the 4 nights I was there. They never sent anyone to fix it and did not switch us to a different room even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked the first 2 nights we stayed. 3 different front desk staff came into room and checked the conditions themselves. There were bed bugs on the bed and I found out because I got a bunch of bites the days I stayed there which couldn’t have happened from mosquitos.

The hotel was very close to the Vatican. Although basic, it was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back again.

The room we was stay comfortable, Monica at the reception very nice and helpful. Good area close to Vatican The air conditioning in our room run by timer during the night it stop for an hour we try to set up in remote control but could not change it. Have no wifi in our room my daughter have to go outside in the hallway to get it

Great customer service from Martha in reception. Walkable to the Vatican, trains and buses. Bathroom was a bit dirty, there was a mascara underneath the sink and false lashes on the floor.

Great quiet location,family friendly large rooms,pefect location for Vatican 10 mins walk,rooms very clean and spacious,both rooms renovated with added bonus of 1 with balcony.Staff very helpful with travel options and best places to eat nearby.Great free continental breakfast. loads of restaurants near,designer shops round the corner, supermarket 5 mins walk ,main bus route for tourist sights round the corner EUR 1.50 to go anywhere, bus ticket shop near too, Sit airport bus drop off,pick up stop 10 min walk.The only down points were cold showers which was reported but didnt improve very much.No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms or hotel bar /cafe

it was close to the sites that I wanted to see and the staff was helpful. Didn't like that I wasnt able to take my breakfast on the go, had to eat in the dining area so missed a few times as i had to go to my meeting place early.

The biggest selling point with the Grand Olympic is it's location - you are only a 10 minute walk to St Peter's Square and the Vatican museum, etc. Also, plenty of shops and restaurants around the corner and a 25 minute walk to the main shopping area. The hotel wasn't 4 star compared to UK 4 star hotels but it was perfectly fine for us. The room had excellent aircon, the bathroom was in great condition, shower was very warm at night but cold in the morning. The breakfast is included and was perfectly adequate to start you off on your day. Nothing hot but continental choices, lovely croissants, as much tea or coffee as you wanted, cereal etc. Again, not the Ritz but for the price it was great. Staff were helpful and welcoming. If we return I would book again.
