I’m so glad we found this lovely hotel with the gorgeous oasis of a courtyard. The staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. Location is great and I loved walking among the cobblestone streets and exploring the area.

This property deserves a much higher rating than what is given online. Although it states 3 star hotel, it should be ranked a lot higher due to the convenient location in the heart of Trastevere, the friendliest staff, and the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. It is very secure as you have to be let in through a gate and let out through the same gate so it makes you feel safe. If you’re looking for all inclusive or fancy, this is not the place but the genuine service and environment would give it that feel.

All the staff members at the hotel were super friendly and sweet! Our barista made us fun cappucino every morning and the gardent area and happy hour served as a wonderful respite in the middle of all the tourist activities!

The staff here are so kind and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, and very charming. We felt like we were staying in an Italian cottage. It was also in a great location, close walking distance to many amazing restaurants.

Incredible location in Trastevere. It’s near the bridge so it’s easy to walk or scooter around to attractions, or explore the streets of trastevere. The hotel staff were the most friendly and helpful, and really made you feel like you were at home. The premises are very charming, would definitely recommend!

Great stay at Hotel Santa Maria

Our stay at Hotel Santa Maria was amazing. Hotel is in a great location in the middle of Trastevere but tucked away so that it doesn't feel like you are in the middle of everything. Room was great - we had our own little terrace outside our room. Breakfast was great every day. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely come back.

My family enjoyed that the Hotel had a 24 hour reception, breakfast with friendly servers that made your coffee and hot chocolate with designs, rooms that had daily service and all the amenities like shampoo, hair dryer, mini fridge. Most of all the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the restaurants, and shops while at the same time being quiet and safe. The staff is friendly and even offers suggestions for restaurants. They even arranged for their private driver take us to the airport.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Maria. Everyone was so friendly and the breakfast and cappuccinos were lovely. The rooms were lovely and clean too
