It’s not what it says

This place was not what it said. It said they had a restaurant and bowling ally on the property. When we arrived we were not told any of this. We had just traveled and not ate all day. In the hotel room the hotel info still had a menu for room service and hours of operation for the restaurant. It didn’t open til 5. It was 3:30 so we decided to wait also because there wasn’t any other food options close by. We head down at 5 only to find out it’s permanently closed as well as the bowling alley. So me and my family had to walk 20 mins to the nearest restaurant. The hotel also states that it’s only a 11 minute drive to the airport. It wasn’t. It was a 20 minute drive so we had to pay more for a taxi than we originally had thought. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy but there’s a apartment across from the hotel and the people were very noisy til very late. There was also benches under our window that people were hanging out drinking and smoking til late as well. Since there’s no air conditioning we had our windows open and smoke was coming in our room and set the smoke alarm off twice super late around midnight when we were asleep. Me and my family were very disappointed with this hotel.

Far from city.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days on a half board basis. Far from the city although there's a train station nearby. No coffee or tea facility in the room, if you want one you have to order it. No aircon. Kitchen staff are friendly. On their half board basis, you get a breakfast buffet and a 2 coarse meal for dinner with 3 choices. Drinks not included with the dinner. Food is OK nothing special.

Grunau Hotel Outside of Berlin

Excellent hotel ... the staff is so friendly and very professional ! I loved the design of the hotel. Food was excellent. The only downfall is location for those who like to be in the big city. For myself I love to stay outside and rest from the city. Perfect for me and my kids. There is a large park nearby for campers. 1 km from the train Grunau station. We enjoyed the location. My rating would be a 5 for me but for the average traveller maybe not.

Hotel im Grünen, schön ruhig, umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffet. Sehr schönes, orginelles Restaurant. Wir hätten uns mehr Berliner Küche auf der Speisekarte gewünscht, passend zum Ambiente. Vielleicht auch mal was anderes im Angebot der Desserts als das, was es überall gibt. Sehr nettes Personal. Alles in allem kann man das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt, in Berlin Grünau, am Waldrand. Sehr schön. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man, inklusive Tagesdecken aus den 60ern und Wäschekontainern mit alt Wäsche auf den Fluren. Dafür hat das Hotel einige tolle Mitarbeiter !

Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit auch mal Gäste zu empfangen, dafür musste man immer ins Restaurant, dass leider sehr wenig auf der Speicherkarte hatte.Das Frühstücksbuffet war leider nicht dür Allergiker geeignet.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht über ihre schlechte Kommunikation. Wir sin fast 10 Jahre Kunde und buchen unsere Hitels über euch und jetzt wo wir krank geworden Konten wir nicht Stornieren und haben das Geld verloren und Sterne . Nach so ein Desaster und Verlust Nächten wir nicht mehr über Sie reservieren und gehen zu andere Dienstleister. Schönen Tag noch
