When I checked in the front desk associate didn't give me the full rundown on anything around the property. I never got a site map, any information about breakfast, where the laundry room was, nothing. We did check in around 10pm, but I'm surprised we didn't get that info. Anytime my husband and I called the front desk, most associates were short and not very friendly. Information posted does not corroborate information given, e.g. when I called down they said breakfast starts at 7:30am, but there is a sign near the bar area that says breakfast starts at 6:00am. The rooms were subpar at best. We like to stay at Holiday Inns because usually they are clean and well-kempt, the staff is usually nice, and breakfast is always included. There were so many different dusty areas in the room, the lights and vent in the bathroom, there was an exposed panel that looked like it was being worked on but the metal was never covered up and the dry wall looked like it wasn't finished. The blackout curtain had rips in it, and the window had a lock that was broken. The Cyprus Grille inside the hotel seems like it's only open for breakfast, and possibly also dinner but we never saw it open at that time. However, the hostess at the grill is sweet. The front desk associate that checked us out didn't even ask me how our stay was, and we noticed they had a different demeanor when they spoke with people in business suites, opposed to myself and my family. Very disappointed and don't recommend.
