This place was perfect for our overnight stop on our way to Tahoe. Comfortable and clean, spacious and dog-friendly.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay and will stay here again when in the area. My only disappointment was a boring complimentary breakfast. It was adequate and the items were fresh, but no hot breakfast items unless you consider the available toaster and microwave.

The staff at this location is incredibly attentive and accommodating. FINALLY found a place that doesn't burn the Otis Spunkmeyer colors that they say it every evening.

The carpets are old but clean. The rooms are big and comfortable. I had a suite, the living room was spacious and the furniture although dated were clean and comfortable. The bedroom was very roomy. My room included a balcony which was small but an added bonus to the room. The location was great! Lots of restaurants that were walkable and there were outlets across the street. There is also a bike/walking trail across the street that follows the American river.
