The overall stay , poor, no heat in either room they put us in. In the past this has been a great stay, not this time. The staff is always very nice but not much they could do except maybe better communication regarding problems.

Staff was courteous. We were in the Madrone building, and after running the heater for awhile discovered it wasn't making a difference. Called front desk and they provided a couple extra blankets and a portable electric heater, admitting there has been an issue with the heat. If we weren't in a hurry to make a dinner date, we would have requested a better room. While clean, the bed was uncomfortable & the room stayed cold for quite awhile. Awesome price & free parking and friendly staff, but we won't visit again.

I recently stayed at the Lions Gate Hotel and unfortunately this visit didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to expect. I had a late check-in, which was handled quickly, but once I got to the room I realized the heater wasn’t working. I notified the front desk, but there was very little concern or effort to help resolve the issue. My guess is that it’s a training issue rather than a lack of care, but it still impacted the stay.

The room was great. The stay was comfortable. The breakfast options were good (waffle maker, scrambled eggs, potatoes et.al). They put us in the West lodge which had no wifi. The front-desk seemed to know it but didn't inform us that wifi isn't available. They saw that we were checking in with a kid. They did move us into another room after 2 nights.

A truly disappointing experience. This hotel lacks essentials like an elevator and heater, and features dilapidated rooms with shutters that won't close. The poor service at the front desk was the final straw. The stark contrast between this reality and the many positive reviews is baffling, making the place feel deeply misleading.
