We stayed at The Plaza Hotel Capitole for 2 nights in early September and loved it. The location in the center of Toulouse was great. After parking our car in the Capitole Square parking lot we walked everywhere during our stay. We found the staff to be very friendly, professional, and helpful. The facilities were very clean, and comfortable. My only wish was that there were brighter "daylight" LED lights in the lamps to provide a brighter room. Note: We found that the parking ramp (1 Place du Capitole) is somewhat of a busy pedestrian challenge to get to, but following the directions given to us by the hotel staff got us there) Should we visit Toulouse again, we will stay at the Plaza Hotel Capitole again.

Did not have access to the property via car ( heavy luggage) for hours the first day due to a manifestation and the hotel did not notify us. One whole day there was not warm water and most of the da not any water and the hotel staff was not truthful about the situation, but borderline rude.

Don’t bother. Find somewhere else

The bed was comfortable. No running water for about 20 hours. We cancelled our final night stay because of this and the man on reception said we would not be charged for it. When we checked out I asked “when will I be refunded”. He said “that is down to Hotels.com”. He knew exactly what he was doing when he said we would be refunded. As it’s become apparent that Hotels.com won’t refund us as it was 1900 when I cancelled it due to the water problem and Hotels.com’s policy is that you have to cancel by 1800. Aside of the water problem the rooms are overpriced for what they are. You are basically paying to be in the centre!

Great stay at this property. Loved the room and location. Check-in a problem, as charged the tax for someone else's room, then had to move room, and was given a parking voucher as a refund for wrong tax, but it did not work in the end. Otherwise great hotel and stay - perfect location.

Very comfortable and well-located hotel in centre

The hotel is in a superb location in the centre of Toulouse. We had booked a premium room and were given a very early check-in without charge about 1100 when we arrived to drop our luggage. The room was bright and well furnished. However, the bathroom was smelly, and the view was of a brick wall. The hotel upgraded us to a superbly spacious and well-equipped junior suite. There is a pleasant dining room / breakfast area with outdoor courtyard space.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but difficult to access. There was an event in the plaza so we could not get to the parking garage and had to carry our luggage over a mile from another garage in 100 degree weather. The hotel had directed us to a very close garage but all the streets were blocked and the hotel did not warn us which I was very frustrated about since we had specially asked about parking and reserved a spot. The desk staff was unsympathetic and simply said it was hard for them to get to work that day.
