Amazing place. So much to do. We visited in the winter and were in awe of the surrounding nature. 4 stars only because none of the information provided by the hotel was bilingual. We love visiting Quebec and try to learn more French every time but please meet us half way. We hope to be back.

La Station touristique Duchesnay, gĂ©rĂ©e par la SÉPAQ, est un lieu magnifique, parfait pour des sorties et des rencontres en famille. NichĂ©e en pleine nature, elle bĂ©nĂ©ficie du soin apportĂ© par cet organisme gouvernemental Ă  ses propriĂ©tĂ©s. Pour les couples en quĂȘte de tranquillitĂ© absolue, ce n'est peut-ĂȘtre pas l'endroit idĂ©al, car l'ambiance est souvent animĂ©e par les rires et l'Ă©nergie des enfants. Mais c'est aussi ce qui fait le charme du lieu : une ambiance vivante et conviviale oĂč rĂšgne une belle agitation. Le service est irrĂ©prochable : le personnel est diligent, toujours souriant et accueillant. Merci Ă  toute l'Ă©quipe! Le dĂ©jeuner, proposĂ© sous forme de buffet, pourrait gagner en variĂ©tĂ©. Pourquoi ne pas intĂ©grer davantage de produits locaux, comme une sĂ©lection plus large de fromages ?. Souper : Le restaurant de l'auberge a fait un effort pour les vĂ©gĂ©tariens comme nous. Tant mieux pour nous, et pour les animaux ! Cependant, il reste des amĂ©liorations Ă  envisager en cuisine. CĂŽtĂ© entrĂ©es, le potage de lĂ©gumes avait un goĂ»t lĂ©gĂšrement brĂ»lĂ©, ce qui mĂ©riterait un ajustement. Pour les plats principaux, le cari de tofu et gourganes, bien que prometteurs, manquait d'intĂ©rĂȘt en raison de sa texture trop sĂšche. La crĂ©ativitĂ© mise dans les plats carnivores (volaille, saumon, canard, agneau, bison, crevettes, pĂ©toncles et bƓuf) est impressionnante. Pourquoi pas une attention similaire accordĂ©e aux plats vĂ©gĂ©tariens? Une cuisine inventive en phase avec le respect des animaux?

We had a nice room overlooking the lake. Overall we were satisfied. Next time we will look for a place that is downtown Québec City. Price for the hotel room was to expensive. Restaurant on site is also to expensive with no choice in menu. Better option is to rent one of the cottages on site and bring your own food.
