Although our room was beach view, could not see the beach from the room , unless your sitting in the corner of the balcony. If you like hearing loud aircon noises over the beach, this place is for you. Needes to keep the door closed at all times as it was so loud! Air con vents need to be cleaned and its very dusty& dirty. Overall, great location.

Bed on wheels so when you say on it the bed ended up on the either side of the room. The phone didn't work in the room and when I told the reception they said someone would fix it. No one did. Lipstick on the coffee mugs in the room, so these had not be cleaned. People next door smoking on balcony. Was ignored for 10 mins at the bar area when I wanted to get something.

There was a delay of almost an hour in checking in as our room wasn't ready at 2pm. They did give us a room with 3 beds which was appreciated. The view was spectacular and couldn't be faulted. The room was pretty dated and had knocks to the paint, the sliding door to the balcony could have used some wd40 to slide easier and there was the top of a strawberry dried out and left on the floor. Bath was stained with something black, like someone had maybe let black hair dye sit after washing it out. Sheets were clean and felt amazing. Room service was great, prices very reasonable but some of the items were cold by the time they got to the room. Very disappointed that I couldn't get a cocktail delivered to my room though. Parking was an absolute nightmare though because it is shared with other businesses around the hotel and you have to walk a fair distance with luggage in the underground parking to get to the lobby of the hotel. Overall, the view is what we came for and the location is central to everything. It was so relaxing to get away and we had a great stay despite the couple of things I mentioned. We would come back for another stay

It was a great stay in the heart of everything surfer’s paradise has to offer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was directed to use the pool at a nearby hotel as the pool area was undergoing construction. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a good stay and we will stay here again in the future should we come back to the Gold Coast

Novotel surfers paradise hotel is on great location. Walking distance for beach and even you can see beach from your hotel room. Room was clean and staff was very nice and kind. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again in novotel surfers paradise hotel.

Pool area was subpar. There is no service there as BBQ and other outdoor areas are under renovation, as well as facade of the hotels. That didn't bother us as much, as we had planty to di being in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Buffet breakfast was good enough and all and all we really enjoyed the stay. Staff was friendly, but pool area was a bit of a disappointment.

The room itself was nice, but I expected a walk-in shower as advertised. The towels had some stains on them, which made us question the overall cleanliness. We went down for the buffet breakfast, and at over $80 for two people, it felt overpriced considering we only had one plate each. The tables and cutlery also weren’t very clean. We ordered room service for dinner, but my drink was forgotten, and I had to call an hour later to remind them. Breakfast service was also disappointing — we waited about an hour and twenty minutes on the first morning, only to get a call saying there were no eggs available and to order something else. I’m not sure if we were charged extra for the change. The room wasn’t as soundproof as we’d hoped either. We could hear the shower running in the rooms above and next door, as well as the banging from housekeeping while they were cleaning. Overall, it was an okay stay, but the service and cleanliness didn’t meet expectations for the price.

Location is super handy! Rooms ok - only real issue was the bathroom was tiny. We had large sporting groups during our stay - which made it quite noisy at times. Long wait times for lifts became frustrating. Some construction near pool area limiting day time access (alternate pool available at neighbouring hotel).

Novotel Surfers Paradise was an excellent choice for us as it was close to beach, public transport and the strip which provided many nights entertainment. Even with some parts of the hotel being under construction there was no noise outside of business hours and the staff went above and beyond to provide alternatives if needed. Overall it was a fantastic stay

A great hotel for a weekend getaway

We had a spontaneous weekend getaway with the kids and Novotel was great for what we needed. The location was a real drawcard for us as it’s basically on Cavill Avenue and convenient for food, groceries and activities. On the other hand, we were on the 22nd floor but the music from the club across the street was still fairly audible. It wasn’t loud enough to stop the kids from falling asleep at 9pm though. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa and it was great to find the pool towels already in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the bed rather soft but that’s personal preference. As there were four of us in the room, it would have been good if four sets of cups and spoons were available. The reception staff were helpful overall and kind to my son who was with me at checkout - it really made his day, so thank you! We’ve stayed here before and would happily stay again.
