First impression was a very annoyed driver, which set the bar for every other staff encounter. The room itself was not well maintained. The bathrooms have seen far better days, the beds are very uncomfortable and the room fridge sounds like it wants to give up as it runs so loud at all times, its distracting. Overall, as a solo traveler, it was not welcoming for the two nights I was there.

Great location right next to the Maverik Center. I stay here whenever I go to a show in West Valley. The rooms are always clean and everything is in within walking distance of the hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet that is well maintained by the staff. The area is very well lit with plenty of parking and trees for shade. They do a good job of maintaining the property and the staff are always there to help you.

Overnight Stay

The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the tv and fridge works well. There are 5 restaurants within a block walking distance which was nice. I asked to see if an upgrade was available, and they were able to upgrade me to a king bed. I was disappointed they didn’t offer up front nor did they offer or give us bottled water and snack as they have in the past from Platinum members.

Wouldn't mind a option to an upgraded room at check in. I understand completely when bookings are secured and the rooms are 100% booked for the week, but if an opportunity arrives where the upgraded room is available at check in, and offered, I would be left speechless.

Sunday mornings are apparently pool cleaning day. The older gentleman took his sweet time cleaning it. The wall in the bathroom could have used some attention to the cracked drywall by tub. But overall it was a good visit. Will continue to pick Crystal Inn.
