At first glance it’s darling, refurbished just enough but held space for the original design. Check in was great and easy. Kind of surprised they don’t offer to pay for your parking as there is no option for free parking. They advertise a bar that opens at 5, it was not. At around 6am there was a lot of noise, we aren’t sure if it was from the restaurant below us or what. We had a knock on the door from maids at 9 but check out isn’t until 11, then when we were getting ready to leave at 10:30 maintenance knocked, they said there was a leak reported? For the price I wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed overnight for my daughter’s birthday. She loved the old, classic European style of the hotel. Room is spacious and we had to the view of the street. Part of why we booked this hotel is because Himitsu Station is directly found underneath it. All in all, we enjoyed our one night stay.

The air conditioner wouldn't go below 74 the first night, we were sweating. 2nd night it finally kicked in to be cool. There is no window you can open for fresh air. Our view was massive bird poop on the deck. I understand its an old boutique hotel, which I love, but for the daily room rate, those amenities should be fixed and including view from window should be cleaned. Dont open the drapes to look outside I guess.
