My daughter and I have stayed here for an extended time, and I will definitely say that the staff is very friendly. Helpful with all your needs, and always on top of all request. To me this is home away from home. Very peaceful and clean. I would definitely recommend The Econo Lodge on Lackland the best place we've stayed thus far

I paid online and when I got there to check into the hotel, they charged me an additional eight dollars because he said that I paid online so an online fee is what he said so they scammed me. They didn’t change the sheets from the previous guest hotel was ran down I do not recommend

The picture for the room are fake. Everyone should read all reviews before booking. Every bad review by others is on point. Did walk through of both rooms before bringing out luggage in. The first room had burns in bed sheet and blanket looked like it was melted, bathroom light fixture had roaches in it. All furniture was sticky, microwave and mini fridge was dirty and broken, flooing was peeling up, and lock on door didn't function. 2nd room was same way but the bath tub drain had a big nasty ball of hair in it, weird substance in dresser. Graffiti on ceiling and walls. Walked out. Went to a different hotel. No amenities were provided. 10 out 10 dont recommend.

Staff was super nice. If you need somewhere just to lay your head for 4 hours and not worried about anything else this is the spot. If you’re worried about your room being clean, not smelling like an ash tray, or strange people walking through the parking lot, this isn’t the place.

I didn't know there was so much prostitution in that place, i actually feared for my life and my daughters. Also the door on room 223 that i was given didn't even close n i believe the regular custumers knew that because on the second day I saw a man leaving my room while another one was on watch and I'm not sure if anything was stolen, they both ran when i was spotted and when i told the staff, they told me to come back tomorrow at 7am because they had no rooms available, which is a lie they had plenty of rooms eveb thought i feered for my life. I could not sleep those days and would move the couch over to block the door. The laundry room did not work and they had no breakfast even though they advertise that they do. The pool had so much trash inside cause no one ever cleans it. Never in a million years will i ever stay there, not even if i was payed to do it.
