The room was Out dated breakfast was sub par no refrigerator in the room except the suites $5 a day for parking and there was a truck broken into window busted out laptop and wallet was stolen and there was an empty gun holster next to my car

This was my first day at a Hampton Inn and sometime and it was a bit of a let down. I think the rating on hotels.com is a bit overstated. Front desk and breakfast Buffet staff for polite and helpful. The location is very convenient to the airport. I was surprised by a $5 charge for parking which previously I had only encountered at downtown hotels. As for the room, I give it a B+ for cleanliness. The room was large and the bed was comfortable enough and the Linens were clean and crisp. But the furniture was well worn with nicks and scratches. The door was secure, but the frame seemed to be out of alignment with the door and there was a crack at the bottom open out into the hallway. The toilet tank lid had been broken into and was glued back together in an obvious fashion. There was also mildew forming in the caulking on the shower. Overall for the price, it was not a bad experience, but I doubt I will stay there again.
