I chose the hotel based on proximity to the airport because I was in San Antonio for less than 24 hours. After a long flight, arriving well before check in, I needed a nap and shower before heading to my destination/ obligation for the day. Emma, who I spoke with on the phone during a layover, was very friendly and professional when I arrived. She accommodated me as soon as a room was available. I was grateful for her service and hospitality.

I was given a room not yet cleaned, sheets were on the floor… Thankfully, they had an extra room available for us to switch. Additionally, we were charged like 100 dollars extra upfront for a “deposit,” something that was not listed when booking. Yes it was given back to us after the stay but we had to go make a deposit because we weren’t ready for that. Overall, the hotel was good and we didn’t have any other problems during our stay.

Shower nozzle was broken so we had to hold it up to shower. Maintenance said they fixed it but didn’t. A/C barely worked, it was 40 degrees outside but we were hot. Def under par compared to most Hampton Inns I’ve been to.

I checked into room 328 for two nights. The second night I was there I woke up out of my sleep around 11:30 pm to hear someone from room 326 trying to quietly open the door that connects the two rooms. They tried a few times and eventually stopped, I’m guessing once they figured out the door wouldn’t open. Next thing I know my tv no longer worked and I could hear the people next door arguing and making a phone call. I immediately packed my things and left. (Keep in mind, there are no cameras in the elevator or on the floors). I checked in by myself. How did these people know to try to sneak into MY room out of all the rooms late that night. It could have been a wild guess but I can only guess that someone behind the desk tipped them off. I do not think the choice was at random.
