The staff was amazing. The room was beautiful as always. The only suggestion I have is that the water pressure in the shower needs to be improved. It was so low I could hardly rinse the soap off and I could not wash my hair.

I had the worst experience with the Thompson hotel , I got charged another room, because their system wasn’t populated with Expedia . Charged my card WITHOUT authorization . And when called and confronted they took no blame as if their system and charging my credit card with out my permission.. Great hotel but will charge your card without you knowing it . Sadly horrible experience but the manager Angie was nice

We were very disappointed with the service at The Moon’s Daughter rooftop by the bar area. We arrived around happy hour, and despite the place not being busy, the bartenders completely ignored us. We had to ask multiple times just to get a drink. Later that evening, we returned and there was glassware left all over the tables, with no staff attending to the mess. Also, we had requested a crib for our room, but it was extremely uncomfortable for a baby, the metal bars underneath were very deep, making it impossible for a child to sleep properly. This should be looked into, as it’s not suitable for babies and could be dangerous without proper padding or a mattress.

Perfect place to stay in San Antonio although the valet parking is overpriced. The hotel takes many of the free street parking places for their valet and that is simply unfair or maybe illegal because they don't own the street area.

Great experience overall, limited dining options, the food served at the hotel for breakfast and the rooftop are just very average basic but not bad. Biggest gripe was they didn’t notify us until the day of that they would be closing the pool for a fashion show. We went to see our son who’s graduating from the military and got family day. We specifically booked this hotel for the pool so when he got off base he would be able to enjoy the pool (he loves to swim) so that was our biggest let down. However without that and all things considered I would still recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness and great customer service
