My room was lovely and incredibly comfortable, despite the small size. One thing I would change, however, is the breakfast menu - I would add an option of pancakes or waffles for breakfast. Otherwise, the hotel was absolutely wonderful, with courteous and efficient staff.
The room was clean and cute, right next to yerba buena gardens, walking distance to union square and cable cart rides. Double queen beds was a plus, shower was big and wonderful, soap products was an organic lemon, very pleased. Quick service, valet was $75, but worth every penny not to worry about the car. Overall the price to quality was on par, and we had no real complaints.
Front desk was super friendly, room was clean and modern and it’s right across from the rail so it was a quick trip to the chase centre! Would book again
We we're greeted warmly by the valet upon arrival but the service declined as soon as i walked in the door.
No greeting nor courtesy from the front desk. There was some confusion about the room. I booked a Land Mark view and I was given a room with no view. I took my concern to the desk. They gave me the room that I booked after a while, after being treated coldly.
Food and service at Shelbly is wonderful as always.
Area and room was nice, although dont like the hidden fees. We got valet and i would expect taxes to be included when you first pay, but i was charged the taxes at the end of my stay. Also expedia and the hotel need to be on better communicating terms, as i contacted the property to ask if we can use photo id to check in and were told yes, but when we went to check in the desk staff told us no, thankfully we were able ti change the name to be able to check in. Fairly clean, showers could use better scrubbing as well as the windows, but decent stay.
