The clerk at check in and check out was very warm and welcoming. The check-in and checkout process was very quick and efficient. The room was clean, but a very basic room. The decor was a little aged, and there was some graffiti on one of the pieces of art on the headboard of the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub fixtures were also aged, but clean. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price and the included parking right out front was excellent.

It is a fun area and location to many things. The colored bed runner was stained and looked dirty. Not sure if it just wasn’t cleaned or if it was clean but stained. Either way , it doesn’t bestow confidence and I wrapped it up and we didn’t want to sit on it. Nice to have free parking and the office staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked if we could keep our car there a few hours longer. It was nothing exceptional but it was nice. No hair dryer in the room.

The Inn has a great location in Hayes Valley and many shopping and drinking/dining options within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, there was ample parking with no additional charge, and the property exterior was well-maintained. However, I've given a 4 rating because there was no stopper to plug the bathtub for a bath, and the office stated they had none.
