This was an excellent hotel. Upon checkin I was informed of a free upgrade to a suite, which turned out to be a very nice upgrade. The suite was larger than most apartments in this neighborhood. The room was clean, bedding was luxurious.

overall lovely and super staff. the bed was comfortable, the linens are clean, the room is calm and soothing. I was disappointed to learn that "limited room service hours" meant breakfast only. Also my room had an old guide in it which listed breakfast as being served until11am on weekends, and was very very sad on sunday when i called at 10:20 got a busy signal, and called back 15 minutes later only to be told the kitchen was closed. they made up for it by comping breakfast the next day, but i wish the info in my room had been up to date; i would have much rather paid and had breakfast than gotten the free one the next day.

The hotel was well appointed, and the room was clean (except for the bottom of the swivel/office chair which was very dusty). The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for SF. I would stay there again, Location can't be beat for access to Union Square, shopping and businesses.

A lovely spot. Reasonably priced, very clean, elegant (if a bit dated.) Kind and attentive front desk staff. Keurig in room with delicious coffee; filtered water stations (though wish they were on every floor.) Robes! Wish there was a bar. Otherwise, excellent!
