Yes the room was spotless. Guy at the desk wasn't very informative. Acted like he hated his job. Shuttle came on time. Great place to overnight before the flight out.

Check in time was good, staff in reception at times I passed by. Unfortunately there was no iron board in the room, and the iron that was inside was leaking the water. I informed the front desk and they told me they ran out. I asked if I can get a replacement since I was there for meetings, he said he will make a note. Nothing was followed up after that and remained with the old iron and no iron board. Just ironed my clothes on the bed.

My room was in the older part of the building. The room was relatively clean and spacious, unfortunately the walls are paper thin, and the noise from the next room (TV, phone conversation, shower, etc.) and the coming and going of guests checking in and out kept me up all night. Furthermore, the shuttle either did not show up or showed up early at the International Terminal and did not wait until the scheduled time, requiring a costly cab ride to the hotel.

The room was 100% new, spotless, very comfortable. So often motel remodels (this was once a Ramada) are superficial and disappointing. The Aluxor is a rare exception to that rule. Helpful staff (sent me the airport bus schedule and instructions without prompting). Reliable hourly shuttle. Good location if you are stuck overnight at SFO.
