Lovely property, great location

We had a wonderful one-night stay. Staff was very friendly and responsive to all of our needs. Location just off the Square was ideal. Valet parking kept our car and belongings safe in their garage and was included in the price.

We had to cancel our one night stay, 2 days before our arrival, due to a suicide attempt by our son. We flew home urgently. Although the cancellation policy says no refund we, appealed to the humanity of Hotels.com and Rosewood, offering to provide medical records. We were fully denied however.

The area around the hotel is under construction. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovation although we did not see and ongoing repairs. You see patched up unpainted walls and areas in need of maintenance. Hotel appeared to be under staffed and more focused on a weekend which restricted our access to the bar and dining facilities.
